The year 1960 represents a defining moment in Nigerian history. It signifies the time the country became an autonomous state, an independent nation free from the ideology of the west, and free to become its own leader. This was made possible because persons of great character, whose names are forever ingrained in the footprints of time, took it upon themselves to pay the price that our independence demanded.
Our properties, Hotel 1960 and Eagles Park 1960, are a celebration of those times, as well as the heroic efforts of the men and women who gave what it took to make our country a better place for all. These included the likes of the great Zik, Awolowo of the Western Nigeria, and all the heroes of years gone past. These patriots, who have stood for integrity, freedom, independent spirit, and self-determination, fought for the cause of liberty: liberty to self-governance; and independence to determine and exercise our God-given right, the freedom to choose.
